As a physician formerly with limited personal experience in acupuncture, I was a little skeptical whether acupuncture treatments would help me. Now after several treatments, I am a full believer in the healing power of acupuncture. Even more so, I am impressed by Sachiko's holistic approach, delicate touch and welcoming style. She is incredibly knowledgeable and I confidently refer my patients and family members to her. My husband and I were thinking about starting a family -I wanted to fix my back pain first. Sachi fixed my pain in 5 session and I got pregnant right after. During pregnancy she helped me with nausea and delivery was smooth. Now we have this beautiful baby girl. I don't know how to thank Sachi! The needles we use are thinner than your hair. It is unlike the needles you experience with flu shots or IVs. You may feel pressure, sometimes a dull ache, as some areas of the body are more sensitive than others. Practitioners will check with you and make sure you are comfortable with the insertions. Acupuncture enables the body to release a hormone called endorphin, which is 200 times stronger than morphine. Endorphin lowers inflammation and creates new and healthier tissues in the body. Acupuncture also increases blood flow and reduces swelling in nerve endings. Pain Management: It depends on many factors such as acute vs. chronic, your general health condition, and age. If you are coming in for acute pain, such as throwing your back out a few days ago, it takes much fewer visits than chronic back pain you have had for years. Infertility: Generally, 3 months is the ideal length to optimize the conditions. If you are coming in for IUI/IVF support and don’t have that much time, we can increase the frequency of visits per week. Microneedling: Once a month for 4-6 visits. We strongly recommend combining with regular acupuncture to treat underlying conditions in between for the optimal outcome. Even though you are lying on the table, there will be a lot of movement inside your body. To avoid getting lightheaded, please eat something before your visit. Wearing loose clothing is more relaxing and easier for us to access the acupuncture points. We are in network with United Health Care and can also work with other insurance companies as an out-of-network provider. I broke my hip and had a surgery several years ago. Ever since, I live with a pain. My doctor recommended to try acupuncture, so I started seeing Sachi. To my great surprise, it has been working real well!
 Sachi listens to me carefully. And she is very gentle (I was a bit scared of acupuncture). 
In addition to my hip pain, I have been stressed out for a couple of years. I noticed I feel so good - relaxed and then energized after Sachi's treatment.

I experienced periodic knee pain due to a past knee surgery. I noticed an immediate improvement after my first session with Sachi, which continued with subsequent sessions. Sachi was skilled at identifying the problem and made me feel comfortable and relaxed during the treatment. I would definitely return to Sachi if my knee pain flares up again.
